With 25 years of experience in British Columbia fire services, Monty is an expert at leading and building teams, solving issues, completing workplace needs assessments, operational planning, and multi-million-dollar budgets. He is a decisive, diplomatic, and clear communicator with internal and external stakeholders. Monty is a stable and effective leader in pressure-ridden, time sensitive, and stressful environments. He is sincere and honest with a high level of personal and professional integrity. Monty is the Assistant Fire Chief for District North Vancouver and is responsible for all Public Safety functions including FireSmart, fire investigation, and inspection.
